Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker said he plans to end his career in three years - at age 36.
"I think I'll quit around age 36. That leaves me with two and a half more years. 36 is a good age to start pursuing some new goal.
I'm not spending and saving much, buying land and real estate. Hopefully I can realize my plans and dreams after MMA. Right now I'm keeping all that kind of stuff at bay so I don't lose focus. If you fight at the top level - fights take most of your attention," Whittaker said in an interview with Demetrious Johnson.
Whittaker will share the octagon with Hamzat Chimaev at UFC 308 on October 26.
