"A confrontation between bull and matador". Aspinall analyzed the Du Plessis - Adesanya fight

UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall shared his thoughts on the upcoming middleweight title fight between Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.

"So Izzy likes to move through space and can feint, and Dricus hates it. He just comes at you and takes up space to finish you off. It's a really interesting fight in terms of style, it reminds me of a bullfighter versus a matador.

Speaking about Dricus, I would like to mention that it is hard to fight with him, because all the time he presses on the opponent and does not give space for maneuver. Plus he can move you. Yes, his takedowns lack technique, and mostly it looks like he's saying, "I want you to lie down." However, he still manages to execute them.

Izzy will confuse him, make him make mistakes. He will prioritize distance work because his anthropometry is perfect for it," DAZN quoted Aspinall as saying.

As a reminder, the Du Plessis - Adesanya fight will headline UFC 305, which takes place on the night of August 18 in Perth, Australia.
