Eric Nixick, Francis Ngannou's trainer, has spoken out on the condition of the fighter, who is set to return to the cage in October.
"I'm happy for him. I told him he needed to keep himself busy and focus on his fighting career to somehow distract himself from the death of his son, but I wasn't sure if he would ever fight again."
As a reminder, Ngannou recently had a one and a half year old son die.
