Aspinall: "Miocic needs to be made Joe Biden."

Interim UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall of Britain has called on U.S. veteran Stipe Miocic to take an example from U.S. President Joe Biden by voluntarily withdrawing from the upcoming election.

As a reminder, Michoic is slated to be the next opponent for current full heavyweight division champion Jon Jones.

"Stipe needs to get out of there. Let's be honest - the guy is almost 42 years old, he's had a four-year hiatus, and he lost his last fight by knockout. Of course, he's an absolute legend of the sport. He's the best heavyweight in history, statistically speaking. But the guy needs to be taken out of the race.

He needs to become Joe Biden. He's too old, and nobody cares about that anymore. I have a lot of respect for Stipe, but he needs to be taken out and I need to be put in his place. That would be the right thing to do. Take Joe Biden out and make room for me. He needs to be made Joe Biden, he's too old," Aspinall told TNT Sports.
