Cormier has figured out how to solve Khabib and Conor's conflict

American mixed martial arts titleholder Daniel Cormier has spoken out about the long-running conflict between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.

"Conor just hates Khabib. It sits deep inside him. But it's mutual. Khabib doesn't like the guy either. They hate each other. It's crazy how deep it sits in them.

The easiest way to resolve this conflict: if McGregor beats Chandler, give him a title fight against Islam Makhachev. Khabib would find solace in that, and Conor would try to get revenge by defeating Khabib's heir. That's the story," Cormier said in an interview with Funky & The Champ.

Recall that in October 2018, Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor with a fourth-round submision.
