Ferguson: 'I want to still fight and compete'

Former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has confirmed that he has no plans to end his career after his eighth straight defeat.

"I say I want to still fight and compete and keep doing it. If I lost my love for MMA, both gloves would stay in the octagon.

What we'll do is do something else. It makes me want to be real. If fans are willing to fly [to Abu Dhabi] and spend thousands of dollars to see me fight, I can tell you they'll follow me anywhere. Those are the most humble words I can utter," Ferguson is quoted as saying by Bloody Elbow.

As a reminder, Ferguson lost by choke to Michael Chiesa last weekend at UFC on ABC 7 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
