Mokaev begs to return to UFC: 'Ready to do next fight for free'

Undefeated flyweight fighter Muhammad Mokaev said he expects to return to the UFC and is ready to fight his next fight for free.

In late July, Mokaev defeated Manel Capa on points at UFC 304 in Manchester, United Kingdom. At the post-tournament press conference, promotion head Dana White announced that he would not renew the 23-year-old fighter's contract.

"I told Hunter Campbell that I was willing to do the next fight for free. My behavior was unprofessional. I want to say that the whole situation was taken to heart by me, but already now I've managed to let it go. I have learned my lesson and I want to return to the league," MMA Junkie quoted Mokaev as saying.
