Top UFC lightweight Dustin Porier has announced his readiness to replace the organization's featherweight champion Islam Makhachev in a fight with Arman Tsarukyan.
"Yes, of course I'm interested in an interim title fight with Tsarukyan. I'm interested in what they're going to do with it. Is Arman going to wait for Islam? I don't know when Islam will be back, but it looks like everything looks like he needs surgery. So, we'll be watching. The last few years the lightweight division has become absolutely insane."
Recall, Makhachev is out indefinitely due to a hand injury.
