White: "I didn't think Usyk would be so dominant at heavyweight"

British super featherweight Dillian Whyte admitted that Oleksandr Usyk's success in the "king" division was a big surprise for him.

"When he moved up to super featherweight, I thought there was no way this guy was going to be a serious contender. Look at his fights with Witherspoon and Chisora - he was being forced to back down. I knew Usyk was a good fighter, but I didn't think he would be so dominant," White said in an interview with YouTube channel iFL TV.

Recall that on May 18, Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by split decision and became the absolute champion in the heavyweight division. Later, the Ukrainian left the IBF belt vacant.
