American prospect Keyshawn Davis believes Terence Crawford is capable of defeating outright world middleweight champion Saul Alvarez early.
"I think they'll fight, especially if Crawford looks good in the Madrimov fight. After that, they'll be bound to fight. Two guys should want to fight each other. It shouldn't just be one of them wanting to do it. When Crawford proves himself as a bantamweight, Canelo should be open to that fight.
Canelo certainly has the size advantage, but size means nothing in a fight. You have to show more than just size, power and speed. You need to show a lot of things when it comes to fighting. Of course, I think Crawford can knockout Canelo. If he can do it, it's going to be crazy," Davis said.
