Du Plessis: "Adesanya has one of the greatest careers in MMA history"

UFC middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis has spoken respectfully about former titleholder Israel Adesanya.

"This guy has accomplished a lot in sports. It would be an understatement to say he's just had a great career. Izzy has one of the greatest careers in MMA history. In my opinion, Anderson Silva is the greatest fighter in middleweight history and Israel is pretty close next to him," Du Plessis said in an interview with YouTube channel Hack Check Podcast.

As a reminder, Du Plessis and Adesanya will fight on August 17 in the main event of UFC 305 in Perth, Australia.
