Rafael Dos Anjos, former UFC lightweight champion, reminisced about his never-failed bout with Conor McGregor, the promotion's former two-division champion.
"I could have said I was the champion and Conor lost to Diaz, so now it's my turn to fight McGregor. I could have done that, but I didn't want to hold the lightweight. I owned the belt and I didn't go, 'Conor, I'm going to wait for you. I don't want to fight anybody else." I believe I did the right thing when I moved forward. I ended up fighting Eddie Alvarez. I don't regret anything," MMA News quoted Dos Anjos as saying.
