White doesn't think the UFC is a monopoly: "We're just the best"

Dana White, CEO of the UFC, reacted to the fact that his promotion is very often referred to as a monopoly in the mixed martial arts market.

"We've been called monopolists and things like that for years. We're not monopolists, we're just the best. Anyone can join this game. You can start your own league tomorrow and pay fighters whatever you want, you can do whatever you want. But a lot of smart and talented businessmen have tried to compete with me in this sport, and they haven't succeeded," White said in an interview with Fox News.
