Usman: "Diaz is no longer a world-class fighter"

Former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman has spoken out about the current level of Nate Diaz, who has been boxing since last year.

"Don't get me wrong, respect to Nate Diaz. Nate can still fight. But he's no longer a world class fighter. Are you nuts?! Put Diaz against Shavkat Rakhmonov, against me, against Jack Della Maddalena or against Justin Gagey and you'll see everything. Drop these talks," Usman said on the Pound4Pound podcast.

Recall that last weekend, the 39-year-old Diaz defeated another MMA veteran, Jorge Masvidal, by majority decision. The fight under boxing rules took place in Anaheim, USA.
