UFC middleweight Roman Dolidze has revealed that the promotion doesn't want him to leave the middleweight division.
"There were conversations and there was this nuance there: they told me that they don't want me to leave 84 kg. That is, if I'm ready to fight there and there, then I get the fight. I said: "Sure. But you've already said that a lot of opponents are getting taken down. You named some names that were even before Imavov. There's three or four people there, too." Before the fight with Imavov, I waited seven months and went home without getting an opponent. But this time I did. Although at first I was here for two months and went home again. And I think that when I will be in two weights, it will be much more convenient to pick up opponents, and I will not be left without fights. It's such a gameplan for me for the future," Dolidze said.
