"Fought on equal terms with the best". Puryear again recalled the fight with Makhachev

Dustin Porier, the UFC's top American lightweight, recapped his recent bout against the promotion's featherweight champion Islam Makhachev.

"Fought on equal footing with the best of them. Grateful for the adventure," Puryear wrote on social media.

The fight between Puryear and Makhachev took place on June 2 as part of the UFC 302 main event and ended with Islam winning by choke in the fifth round.
