Strickland: "Salaries in the UFC are complete nonsense"

Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland criticized the level of fees in the world's top MMA promotion.

"Salaries in the UFC are complete bullshit. Signing fighters to a 10/10 [thousand dollar] contract should be a felony. I'm on the random stand of the poor man getting rich. Once you have capital, it starts to grow like a snowball. The elites never have to make money and still easily have $500k a year. And yet they continue to fill their bank accounts with millions they will never need or spend. And so it is everywhere," wrote the American in X.

Recall that on June 1 at UFC 302 Strickland defeated Paulo Costa by split decision of the judges.
