Dariusz: "I think Puryear won't want to leave after the defeat"

UFC American lightweight Beneil Dariush doubts that Dustin Puryear will not appear in the octagon again after his loss to Islam Makhachev.

"Dustin can choose his own opponent. For me, that train has left. I see him as a fighter who is on the verge of ending his career. He didn't want to fight me. He can fight anybody.

I don't think he's going to want to walk away after a loss. That's not his style. He'll want to take at least one more fight to finish after a win. Although if that's what drives you - things may not end the way you want them to," Dariush said in an interview with YouTube channel Helen Yee Sports.

Recall that on June 1, Puryear lost to Makhachev by choke hold in the fifth round. Title fight became the main event of the tournament UFC 302.
