O'Malley: "Wouldn't be shocked if Sandhagen beats Nurmagomedov"

UFC lightweight champion Sean O'Malley has spoken out about the upcoming fight between former interim belt challenger Corey Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov.

The American and the Dagestani will cross gloves on Aug. 3 at a tournament in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

"I will be keeping an eye on this fight. We know that Umar has a tendency to take off before important fights. I will be surprised if this fight even happens. It wouldn't shock me if Corey beats him. Yeah, I have my doubts about Umar coming out for the fight. I don't think he's overrated, but I do think Corey is better as a fighter than Nurmagomedov," O'Malley was quoted as saying by Bloody Elbow.
