Ali Abdel-Aziz, manager of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, compared Arman Tsarukyan to Tony Ferguson, not ruling out that Arman could repeat the fate of "El Cucuy" and not fight for the title.
"I always tell guys - never say 'no' to a title shot," Abdelaziz told Submission Radio. "Maybe he got it, maybe he didn't. I think he'll be next, but this sport is crazy and you never know how things are going to work out. Tony Ferguson was supposed to fight Khabib, but the fight never happened and Tony never fought for the title again, so we'll see. Arman is a good fighter and if that's what the UFC wants, Islam is ready to fight him."
