A press conference featuring former UFC fighters Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, held in Anaheim, California, USA, ended in a mass brawl.
MMA veterans will cross gloves in a 10-round boxing bout at 175 pounds on July 6 in Anaheim. The first few press conferences for the fight were relatively calm, but when the rivals met on Thursday for the final event, tensions peaked.
The event was more tense than usual as Nate, who for the most part was not interested in participating in most of these events, was extremely aggressive. Diaz and Masvidal argued several times about their MMA careers, grappling and their previous fight. Eventually, Nate broke out in defiant remarks and walked offstage, an outraged Jorge went after him and a fight ensued.
