UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has made it clear that he is ready to make his next title defense against Arman Tsarukyan, the division's top-ranked fighter.
"He's just talking. He can't get attention with fights, he's trying to get attention with words. He's already had a chance, I've already beaten him once. I'll have to beat him a second time," MMA Mania quotes Makhachev.
Recall that Makhachev and Tsarukyan have already met in the octagon. Their first fight took place in April 2019 and ended with Islam's victory by unanimous decision.
