Volkanovski put Makhachev over Jones

Alex Volkanovski, former UFC featherweight champion, has spoken out on who is the promotion's best fighter - Jon Jones or Islam Makhachev.

"They say Jones is the best fighter on the planet. But to be called the king outside of weight classes, you have to be an active fighter, you have to make fights. Islam has fought some great fighters and won - he should be respected for that. I think Makhachev is the best," Volkanovski said in an interview with Submission Radio.

Recall, earlier the general director of the promotion Dana White said that the best fighter is Jones.
