Makhachev's trainer disagrees with Dana White's words about the P4P-rated leader

Javier Mendes, head coach of AKA Hall and mentor to UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, reacted to promotion CEO Dana White saying that the number one P4P ranking is Jon Jones, not Islam.

"Well, Dana has his point of view. He has his opinion, but let's see what the judges have to say. I have my thoughts too, and I have my opinion too. There was some common sense in what Dana said, but I'm still loyal to my guy. In my mind, he's the number one pound-for-pound prospect," Mendes said on Submission Radio's YouTube channel.
