Peter Yan, former UFC lightweight champion, has named a date for a possible bout with Marlon Vera.
"I have two months and ten days after surgery, recovery is going according to plan. Everything is going well, so we are not forcing things and are going clearly according to the schedule. I plan to be back before the end of the year, hopefully everything will work out. That's November-December. Vera likes to talk, now he has a fight in August. I told him he's "chasing air". And also that if we had the fight earlier, he would never have fought for the title. But until November-December there is time, we'll see".
