Tsarukyan: "Makhachev is overrated. I can beat him"

UFC lightweight No. 1 Arman Tsarukyan made it clear that he wasn't impressed with division champion Islam Makhachev's win over Dustin Puryear.

Tsarukyan is confident that he can get even with Makhachev for his loss on points in April 2019.

"If Porier had won the fifth round, he would have won this fight. Islam would not have been given the win in the United States. Islam won three rounds, from the third round I was already getting worried about him, it seemed that if it went like that and Puryear won the fight I would be left without a title chance.

Everybody overestimates Islam, they put him on such a level that he's a superfighter and so on. I know I can beat him. I just need a fight, I need to show myself," MMA Mania quoted Tsarukyan as saying.
