Chandler reacted to Makhachev's win over Puryear

UFC American lightweight Michael Chandler assessed Islam Makhachev's victory over Dustin Porier in the main event of UFC 302 on June 1 in Newark, United States.

"Yesterday, Islam M akhachev showed flexibility and patience, which earned him the win. It's great to see Islam tested by one of the best fighters in history. Despite the bloodshed, Makhachev proved that he is the best. An outstanding performance. See you, Islam, sooner rather than later," Chandler wrote in X.

Recall, Makhachev defeated Porier with a choke hold in the fifth round. For the Dagestani it was the third defense of the championship belt.
