Former UFC champion in two weight classes Conor McGregor commented on talk that the promotion's heavyweight division titleholder Jon Jones is avoiding a fight with Tom Aspinall.
"I disagree with those who say Jones is avoiding the Aspinall fight. The fight between Jon and Stipe is much more significant. Aspinall has a chance to win the undisputed title, so the matchmakers have paired him with a great opponent. The fight between Tom and Curtis Blades will be a good one," Championship Rounds quoted the Irishman as saying.
The fight between Jones and Stipe Miocic is expected to take place this November at a tournament in New York, USA.
