Woodley, 42, has decided to resume his MMA career

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley has revealed that he has decided to return from athletic retirement.

"I plan to fight again under MMA rules. The fans want to see that. Honestly, the final phase of my career was like a simulation. The whole Apex Arena thing... It was a real disaster.

Those fights were like exhibition bouts. I think the fans deserve to see me back in the cage. I want to show them that I'm still me. I want to finish my career beautifully," - quotes Woodley MMA Fighting.

Recall that Woodley left the UFC in March 2021 after four consecutive defeats. Later that year, the American lost twice to blogger Jake Paul in fights under the rules of boxing.
