Reigning UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has admitted that he wants to finish his next opponent Dustin Puryear.
"Honestly, if I want to finish Dustin, I don't need to change anything. I need to follow the same plan that Khabib had. Because Dustin's weakness is wrestling and grappling. He always has problems against good wrestlers. So I will finish Dustin on the ground. But I can also fight him in striking, play with him," - said Makhachev in an interview with Weighing In.
Recall, the confrontation between Makhachev and Porier will take place on June 1 and will head the 302nd tournament of the organization.
