Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira said he is ready to move up to the welterweight division for a high-profile fight.

On April 13 at UFC 300, the Brazilian lost by split decision to Arman Tsarukyan and forfeited his chance for a title fight.

"There's a lot going on in the lightweight division right now. There are fights Conor - Chandler and Porier - Makhachev, so I don't want to rush my comeback. I've just had a fight. I don't have any injuries, but training camp is a lot of pressure. I want to move on without rushing, without doing anything stupid.

Move up to welterweight? Why not? Why not accept a fight that will give me a lot of money and become an interesting line on my resume? I'd have to talk to the management. Why not move up to another division for a high-profile fight? If there will be a good opponent and serious money, why not?" - quotes the words of Oliveira MMA Fighting.
