Bellator lightweight champion Patrick Meeks expressed confidence that his teammate Merab Dvalishvili will win the UFC belt in the same category in the not-too-distant future.
"I don't think you have to compete in any particular organization to be the best. My results speak for themselves. I think Merab will take the belt for himself soon. Maybe he will rule the division for a long time. And I will do it here in Bellator. It's interesting to watch the UFC guys, but my resume also speaks for itself. I'm a champion," Inside Fighting quotes Meeks as saying.
Recall that Meeks had his last fight last November, defeating Sergio Pettis with a choke hold.
