Jones responded to a fan regarding the fight with Miocicic

Jon Jones, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, chatted with a fan on social media about his bout with the organization's former featherweight champion Stipe Miocic.

Fan: "What makes you think a fight with a 40-year-old firefighter is going to benefit your legacy?".

Jones: "Yeah, screw the biggest fight of his life and all the money he and his family had to make. Let's just throw him out. Yeah, that's just the way life works."

The bout between Jon Jones and Stipe Miocic was supposed to take place back in November last year, but then "Bones" suffered a serious injury, the effects of which he is still recovering from.
