Arman Tsarukyan, a top UFC lightweight, commented on the banned punch he was given by Charles Oliveira.
"Did the up-kick shake me? It was a stiff kick. It was stiff, although it didn't jolt me. Maybe the first five to 10 seconds. When the ref asked me how I was feeling, I said I was fine. I was asked to touch my nose ... I don't know why, I just wanted to keep going. I'm a fighter," Tsarukyan said at the press conference.
Oliveira delivered a banned kick to the head, lying on his back, because of which the fight was suspended.
Recall, Tsarukyan defeated Oliveira by a split decision of judges. Their fight was held as part of the UFC 300 anniversary event.
