UFC bantamweight champion Alex Pereira explained why he didn't take a break after Jamal Hill kicked him in the groin.

"I was just starting to find the right distance. I was using leg kicks to feel out the distance. Hill was operating in a left-handed stance, so it was a little more difficult for me. My plan for the fight was not to use my hands right away. When he landed a kick to the groin, I wasn't too much bigger. I decided to keep the fight going so I didn't have to find the distance all over again. Preferred not to miss the moment", - stated the fighter.

Recall, Alex Pereira knocked out Jamal Hill in the first round, defending his championship belt.
