McGregor: "I've put more people to sleep than anesthesia during surgeries"

Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor spoke about the state of his health and shared his immediate career plans.

The 35-year-old Irishman hasn't appeared in the octagon since the summer of 2021, when he suffered a technical knockout loss to Dustin Puryear, breaking his leg in the first round.

"I've barely been shaken in my career. Got knocked out once, but then I had a leg injury. Look, I've put more people to sleep than anesthesia during a surgical procedure. I have a complete sense of my own freshness.

Maybe if I can get a good result in my first fight in a few years, I'll do four fights in one year next, and then four more next year. There will probably be more injuries, more wins and losses in that scenario - who knows? But right now I don't doubt my own abilities one bit. I'm fresh and I want to get back in this game," - quotes the Irishman MMA Mania.
