UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev revealed under what condition former titleholder Max Holloway could become his next opponent.
Recall that Holloway will fight Justin Gaethje at the UFC 300 tournament, which will take place on the night of April 14 in Las Vegas, as part of the lightweight division.
"If Holloway has some kind of extraordinary and spectacular finish, there's some chance, but out of those four fighters, he has the slimmest chance at a title shot. Which one of them deserves it more? I don't. I've already fought Tsarukyan and Oliveira, so it would be more interesting to fight with Gaethje," Makhachev said in an interview with the UFC Eurasia YouTube channel.
