The famed former undisputed world heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis shared his view on the rapid rise of young British prospect Moses Itauma. Recently, the 20-year-old prospect has often been compared to the legendary Mike Tyson due to his explosive power and aggressive style.
According to Lewis, such comparisons are premature and not entirely fair.
"I don't think Itauma should be compared to Tyson, he's nowhere near 'Iron Mike.' Moses is his own brand. He's a great young fighter with a lot of potential. There's no need to rush him, he needs to be handled carefully," Lewis stated.
Let's recall that on March 28 in Manchester, Itauma will face the experienced American Jermaine Franklin. This fight, rescheduled from January due to Moses's bicep injury, promises to be a serious test for the young Brit.
