Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller stepped back into the ring Saturday night and came out with a split-decision win against Kingsley Ibeh. During The Ring VI undercard fight, Miller not only defeated his opponent but also left a memorable impression when his toupee got knocked off by Ibeh's punches and ended up in the crowd.
At 37, Miller has faced challenges both inside and outside the ring. His match against Ibeh marked his first victory since March 18, 2023. He faced losses and draws in previous fights against Daniel Dubois and Andy Ruiz Jr., respectively. Despite not fighting for over 17 months because of potential bouts falling through, Miller managed to secure this essential win.
As the toupee took its unplanned flight into the audience, it quickly became the highlight of the evening, transforming into an instant meme. Fabio Wardley handled the hairpiece ringside, while Skye Nicolson humorously posed with it as a wig for a photo op.
Miller now stands with a record of 27-1-2 after this recent victory. Although he celebrated earning another win, time remains crucial if he wants another title shot at this stage of his career.
