Crawford named best boxer of 2025 by Ring magazine

Terence Crawford was named the best boxer of 2025 by The Ring magazine. Last year, the American defeated Saul Alvarez, after which he announced his retirement from professional boxing.

Thanks to his victory over Canelo, Bud won four super middleweight titles. This made the American an undisputed world champion in his third weight category.

The Ring magazine also awarded nominations in other categories. The first fight between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn was named "Fight of the Year," Brian Norman Jr.'s knockout in his fight with Gin Sasaki was "Knockout of the Year," and Mizuki Hiruta was "Female Boxer of the Year."
