Anthony Joshua, the former world heavyweight champion, survived a serious car accident in Nigeria. The incident tragically claimed the lives of two of his close friends and trainers but left Joshua with only minor injuries. After receiving treatment at the hospital, he has now been released.

On that fateful day in Nigeria, a tyre blowout caused their Lexus Jeep to crash into a stationary lorry. Sadly, both Ghami, who coached sports and physical rehabilitation for Joshua, and Ayodele, his personal trainer, died as a result of the accident. The investigation by Nigerian police has begun. They launched a search for the truck driver who fled the scene following the collision.

In terms of Anthony Joshua's professional trajectory, this event momentarily pauses his vigorous career path. His plans indicate an upcoming fight set to happen in Saudi Arabia with potential opponent Tyson Fury on the horizon. More recently, fans witnessed Joshua engage in an exhibition bout against Jake Paul where he secured victory with a knockout.

As this story unfolds, attention rests not only on Joshua's recovery but also on justice for his friends and trainers. Hopefully, authorities will soon apprehend those responsible for this tragedy.
