Abel Sánchez, former coach of Gennady Golovkin, called Terence Crawford's actions disgraceful after he refused to pay WBC commissions following his victory over Saul Alvarez. Sánchez believes that if it weren't for the world federations, Terence would have never become so famous.
"I think it's not very honorable not to pay what he agreed to before the fight [against Canelo]. If he had said before the match, 'I will not pay,' then the WBC would not have sanctioned this fight. But he agreed to pay. He agreed to this amount. I think it's a disgrace that he didn't do it."
