Lomachenko admitted that he ended his career not because of injuries

The former world champion in boxing in three weight classes, Vasyl Lomachenko explained why he decided to hang up the gloves.

“I just lost motivation. My goal was to become the undisputed world champion. After losing the fight with Devin Haney, I realized it was my last chance. Then I took one more belt—and realized that was it. It's not about injuries. Only motivation,” Lomachenko said in an interview with the Fight News YouTube channel.

Recall that 37-year-old Lomachenko announced his retirement from boxing in June of this year. In the professional ring, the Ukrainian had 18 victories and suffered three defeats.
