Frank Warren, promoter of Derek Chisora (36-13, 23 KO), confirmed that Jarrell Miller was indeed supposed to be his opponent in the final fight of his career, but Chisora himself rejected the controversial American at the last stage of negotiations.

One of the greatest heavyweight fighters of the last decade will say goodbye to the ring and fans on December 13 during the tournament in Manchester. His opponent will be officially announced on Saturday during the Joseph Parker - Fabio Wardley boxing evening. It is not yet known who this opponent will be, but it was previously assumed that it would be "Big Baby."

"Derek stated that he doesn't want to fight him, and his opponent was supposed to be Miller. But we will officially announce his opponent on Saturday," Warren confirmed.

Yesterday, David Haye, Chisora's former opponent and then his manager, announced that Derek would have a third fight with Dillian Whyte (31-4, 21 KO), thus ending his career.
