The interim WBC world champion in the first middleweight division, Vergil Ortiz, shared his expectations for the fight between Saul Alvarez and Terence Crawford.
“I think Crawford is too small. Gaining weight and actually belonging to this weight class are two different things.
I would understand if Crawford was fighting someone smaller. But we are talking about Canelo. That guy is good. I think this will be a clear victory for Canelo. Crawford gets hit like everyone else. Sometimes he takes very clean punches. If Canelo hits you, it will be really bad, no matter who you are. Canelo is fast. He is not a slow puncher. He can catch you off guard,” said Ortiz.
Let us remind you that the fight Alvarez – Crawford will take place on September 13 in Las Vegas.
