Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford are getting ready for a big fight on September 13. The boxing world can't wait to see these two champions face off in just 10 days.
Many people think this fight could go either way. Canelo's got the weight advantage, but Crawford's been looking strong since he moved up to this weight class.
Canelo's been working hard to get ready. He's been sparring with Jaron 'Boots' Ennis, another top boxer. The idea is to train with someone really good to be fully prepared.
But not everyone thinks this is a smart move. Teddy Atlas, a well-known boxing expert, is worried it might backfire. He said:
"I don't want him to leave it in the gym. I don't want him to get in that kind of war in the gym. I wouldn't want wars with my guy who has been in 65 fights... I would pick spots for Canelo with one or two days to amp him up, but it would only be spots with someone that sharp."
Atlas is concerned that Canelo might wear himself out before the actual fight. Canelo's got 65 fights under his belt, so he's got more miles on him than Crawford. Even though Crawford's older, he hasn't been in as many fights.
There's a chance Canelo could be tired on fight night if he's doing too much intense sparring now. It's adding more rounds to his body when he should be saving his energy for the big night.
Both fighters are at the top of their game, but they're taking different approaches to get ready. It'll be interesting to see how their strategies play out when they step into the ring in just over a week.
