The feud began when Shaq allegedly tried to jump the line at the event. Alston responded by 'chopping him in the neck'. Now, years later, Alston publicly challenged O'Neal during an appearance with Celebrity Boxing CEO Damon Feldman.

O'Neal didn't hesitate to accept. He took to Instagram to respond:

"You chopped me in my neck, Charlie Mack. That's why I talk so funny. Payback time. You name the time and place, I'll be there. Diesel don't run from nobody. ... You better check my police record, Charlie Mack."

This won't be Shaq's first time in the boxing ring. While he was still playing in the NBA, he faced off against Sugar Shane Mosley and Oscar De La Hoya in exhibition matches. He lost both bouts, but that hasn't dampened his enthusiasm for this new challenge.

Celebrity Boxing will organize the match, though they haven't set a date yet.

In a completely different arena, Shaq is also teaming up with Hersheypark for a Halloween and Dark Nights experience. From September 12 to November 2, visitors can ride the "Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk", an indoor coaster inspired by Shaq's gummy candy line.

The ride will feature glowing visuals, enhanced audio, immersive lighting, and even Shaq's voice. It's the first time Hersheypark has done an overlay like this.

Shaq shared his excitement about the project:

"We're taking the flavour and the fun of my Shaq-A-Licious XL Gummies and blowing it up into a larger-than-life adventure. From the second you step inside; this ride brings non-stop energy and laughs."

Vikki Hultquist, Vice President of Hersheypark and Entertainment Operations, added:

"Get ready for a bigger, bolder, XL ride. Through a Shaq-ified world of giant glowing gummies, bass-pumping beats and over-the-top fruit-flavoured mayhem at Shaq-A-Licious Laff Trakk."

Whether he's in the boxing ring or lending his name to a roller coaster, Shaq continues to keep fans entertained both on and off the court.
