Oleksandr Usyk's Ex-Promoter Reveals Boxer's Surprising Next Move: "Not What Fans Expect"

Usyk's impressive resume boasts two points wins over Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. He also knocked out Daniel Dubois twice. His last fight in July 2024 ended with a knockout victory over Dubois.

Just weeks before that fight, Usyk split with his long-time promoter Alex Krassyuk. Krassyuk told World Boxing News that he "felt the time was right" for the split.

Krassyuk shared his thoughts on Usyk's future:

"I don't see him fighting anymore, at least in boxing. He has proved it all; there's nothing more to gain. For sure, there're going to be some dossers around pushing him to the ring again. As a friend, I will do my best to convince him to retire."

Despite talks of retirement, rumors are swirling about a potential MMA fight between Usyk and Jake Paul. Paul appeared in the ring after Usyk's victory over Dubois, and Usyk has said he's ready for an MMA challenge.

Many believe Usyk would likely win such a matchup. Paul's lack of experience in MMA and boxing, along with his smaller size compared to Usyk, put him at a disadvantage.

As Usyk considers his next move, fans wait to see if he'll hang up his gloves or take on new challenges outside the boxing ring.
