Former Sparring Partner Reveals Crucial Weakness in Canelo-Crawford Matchup: "Vulnerability Exposed"

Crawford, who's jumping up 14 pounds since his last fight, will challenge Canelo for his undisputed super middleweight world title. It's a bold move for Crawford, who's already undisputed in two divisions and a champion in four weight classes.

Canelo, a four-weight world champion who's fought as high as light heavyweight, will defend his titles. The fight will stream live on Netflix, marking a new era for boxing broadcasts.

Kyrone Davis, a middleweight boxer who's sparred with both fighters, shared his thoughts on the matchup. Davis favors Canelo to win, citing the champion's size and toughness as key factors.

"Canelo is a big guy. It's going to be a lot. He can take a punch so you're not going to hurt Canelo. I don't think Crawford can hurt him with one punch, maybe he can cut an eye or something or bother him to the body."

Davis pointed out that Crawford faces a tough challenge. He'll need to avoid Canelo's pressure and counters while dealing with the size difference.

"He has to get some flesh on gloves and go to the body, it's going to be a tall task. Canelo can really fight. He has moves and traps. It's not easy. In boxing nothing is impossible, but if I had to bet I'd put money on Canelo."

The size difference could play a big role in the fight's outcome. Davis thinks Canelo's power might be too much for Crawford to handle.

"I'm not taking anything away from Crawford, but Canelo is great. Can Canelo stop him? He's a bigger guy. I think one punch can do it."

Crawford might try to target Canelo's body or aim to cut his eye. He'll need to be smart and accumulate damage over time to have a chance against the bigger, stronger champion.

Davis himself is looking to bounce back after a unanimous decision loss to Yoenli Hernandez in May. His insights come from his experience sparring with both fighters.

The fight promises to be a clash of styles and sizes. Crawford's skill will be put to the test against Canelo's power and experience. Boxing fans can catch all the action live on Netflix on September 13.
