Lennox Lewis has given Daniel Dubois some advice on how to beat Oleksandr Usyk in their upcoming rematch. The former heavyweight champion thinks Dubois should focus on throwing uppercuts instead of body shots.

Lewis knows a thing or two about rematches. He lost to both Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall during his career but managed to win both return fights. He turned those losses into wins, showing he can adapt and overcome challenges.

Dubois and Usyk are set to face off again this weekend at Wembley. All four world titles will be on the line. Their first fight in August 2023 ended in controversy when Dubois put Usyk on the canvas with what many thought was a low blow. The referee ruled it a legitimate shot, and the fight continued.

Speaking about the rematch, Lewis shared his thoughts on YouTube:

"People say 'oh, if you fought Usyk, what would you do?' I would throw a good uppercut because he's susceptible to uppercuts and I throw a mean upper cut and that's how I would fight the fight."

When asked if Usyk's body could be a weak spot, Lewis wasn't so sure. He explained that fighters often work on areas others think are weaknesses:

"Anybody who is vulnerable to the body, and everybody is saying it, usually goes back and works on the body and says make them think I'm vulnerable to the body, that's what I want them to think and now my body is tough and if they go to the body I'm going to hit them at the same time."

The boxing world will watch closely to see if Dubois takes Lewis's advice. Joseph Parker, the WBO mandatory challenger, thinks Usyk will win the rematch. But in boxing, anything can happen when the bell rings.
